Technical Specifications:

• Material Overview: NBR is the most widely used material among standard seals due to its excellent mechanical properties, high abrasion resistance, and low gas permeability. It offers high resistance to mineral oil-based oils and greases.

• NBR Composition: NBR is a copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile. The acrylonitrile content can vary from 18% to 50%, affecting properties such as low-temperature flexibility and resistance to oil and fuel.

• Resistance: NBR exhibits good resistance to mineral oil-based oils and greases, aliphatic hydrocarbons, hydraulic oils, silicone oils, water (up to 80°C), and more. However, it is not resistant to fuels with high aromatic content, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and certain solvents.

• Temperature Range: Standard NBR types can operate in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +100°C, with short-term resistance up to +120°C. Special grades are available for lower temperatures down to -50°C.
