The AO double lip design combines a spring-loaded sealing lip that retains lubricant inside the assembly with an auxiliary dust lip that helps prevent contaminants such as dust, dirt and moisture from entering the sealing system. This construction is widely used in industrial machinery, gearboxes, pumps, electric motors and hydraulic equipment where reliable shaft sealing is required.
The FPM (FKM) material is selected for applications exposed to elevated temperatures and chemically aggressive media. Compared with standard NBR seals, FPM provides superior resistance to heat, oxidation, ozone, ageing and numerous industrial oils and fuels, making it suitable for demanding operating conditions.
